Reading first-team stars Femi Azeez, Michael Craig and Tom Holmes were in attendance for Saturday's 2-0 win over Middlesbrough in the PL2 play-offs.
Adrian Akande's brace in the second half was enough to earn victory in the round of 16 for Noel Hunt's Under-21s, setting up a quarter-final with Nottingham Forest in the coming week.
Over 800 Royals supporters were in attendance at the SCL Stadium, alongside a group of first-team staff to back the youngsters.
Holmes, Azeez and Craig all made their name in the club's Academy before progressing into the first-team, with all three regulars as the Royals fought against the odds to stay in League One last season.
Holmes, who is officially a Luton Town player after his loan deal came to an end, spent 16 years progressing through the ranks in his hometown.
Azeez is out of contract and his future remains uncertain, as does Craig with Portsmouth reportedly keen on the midfielder.
Boss Ruben Selles was in attendance, alongside Director of Football Mark Bowen and Academy chief Michael Gilkes.
