Tottenham Hotspur have released teenage midfielder Billy Heaps following the conclusion of his third-year scholarship.
19-year-old Heaps, a regular for Spurs Under-18s in recent years, is one of four players let go this summer, including the likes of Ivan Perisic and Eric Dier.
Heaps, who had previously been in the youth system at hometown club Stevenage, had spent a short period on trial with Noel Hunt's Under-21s in Berkshire.
Could alternatively be a 4231 for #readingfc again this afternoon: Clarke in at left back, Carson moving up to replace Tuma on the left wing.

Senga also back involved on the bench. He's in for triallist Billy Heaps, who got about 30 seconds as a sub last Saturday.
Making two short cameos during the run-in for the play-offs, his future remains unclear but he is clearly on the radar of the Academy chiefs at Bearwood.
Tottenham beat Sunderland 3-1 in the PL2 Play-off Final last weekend but Heaps was not involved at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
As with any player linked with Reading, question marks linger over the club's ability to start working on attracting players due to uncertainty on budgets.
The Royals still have 10 first-team regulars and Academy prospects in contract talks heading into the final month of their contracts.
