Reading legends Dave Kitson and James Harper have been joined on the coaching team at The Dave Kitson Academy by Arsenal legend David Hillier.
The former Gunners midfielder - who won the league title under George Graham in 1991 and played over 150 times - has been brought in by Kitson to provide coaching sessions for The Dave Kitson Academy in the west country.
Hillier, who also played for Portsmouth, Bristol Rovers and Barnet, settled in the Bristol area after his playing career finished and became a firefighter for Avon Fire and Rescue.
That means Kitson, who is a Tottenham Hotspur fan, now has two former Arsenal players on his coaching team, with Harper joining Reading from the north London club in 2001 after seven years with the Gunners.
In his first coaching assignment for The Dave Kitson Academy, Ross-on-Wye based Ross Juniors FC were treated to some coaching by Hillier as part of their 20th anniversary celebrations.
Arsenal fan Paul Flitney, who helped to arrange the club's anniversary celebrations, said: "Our kids and parents could not believe David would be coaching our young players.
"David was superb. He was professional and very personable, the coaching was fantastic and everyone had a fantastic time. The kids really enjoyed it.
"To have someone like David with all his footballing achievements at Arsenal visiting our grassroots club was just brilliant."
