2024/25 League One fixtures have been revealed, and Reading will live on Sky Sports on the opening day away at newly relegated Birmingham City.
Always a popular day for supporters to be able to plan out the next nine months, it has been met with less fanfare than usual so to the ongoing off-field crisis.
Other key dates include Boxing Day, New Year's Day and the Easter weekend, as well as the final day in May.
The Blues, heavily backed by US investors, are in the third tier for the first time in over 30 years.
Live on Sky Sports at 5.30pm on Saturday, August 10, Wigan Athletic will visit the following week for the first home match.
Opening Day - Birmingham City v Reading, Saturday 10th August, 5.30pm
First Home Match - Reading v Wigan Athletic, Saturday 17th August
Boxing Day - Reading v Northampton Town, Thursday 26th December
New Years Day - Cambridge United v Reading, Wednesday 1st January
Final Day - Reading v Barnsley, Saturday 3rd May
