Reading have confirmed their pre-season schedule following the addition of a meeting with Championship outfit Millwall.
The Royals have been back in training for one week and are not leaving the UK, an anomaly in modern football, due to the financial situation.
Getting underway on Saturday (11am ko), Watford host Ruben Selles side at London Colney in an encounter behind closed doors.
Appearing to have a week without a fixture, Millwall visit Bearwood on Friday, July 19 (12pm ko) for another behind-closed-doors fixture.
The following Tuesday (July 23- 7.45pm ko) supporters will get their first glimpse of the side at National League outfit Woking.
What follows is a trio of Championship sides to round off the pre-season campaign.
Queens Park Rangers, and no doubt a large contingent of supporters from West London, arrive on July 27 (3pm ko) as the SCL Stadium opens it's doors for the first time this season.
Cardiff City, including former Royals Andy Rinomhota and Yakou Meite, welcome Reading on July 31 (7.45pm ko) before the traditional curtain-raiser against Hull City one week before the start of the League One calendar (August 3- 7.45pm ko).
Birmingham City host Reading in the first match of the league campaign on August 10, kicking off at 5.30pm live on Sky Sports
