Reading youngsters Adrian Akande and Jayden Wareham found the net as the Royals got pre-season off to a perfect start with a 2-0 victory over Watford.
The Hornets, who last year finished in their lowest league position for over 15 years, have given no details on their side, making it difficult to judge the fixture at London Colney training ground.
Andrew French, their club journalist and former media chief, commented: "It’ll be no more than a training match with multiple subs throughout."

The Royals named two separate sides, one for each half, and was a mixture of first-team regulars and youth prospects.
Club captain Andy Yiadom and striker Sam Smith were the only noticeable absentees, with the likes of Harvey Knibbs, Lewis Wing and Femi Azeez all gaining minutes.

Akande and Wareham netted in the second half to secure victory, which is already more wins than Ruben Selles' side managed in the whole of last pre-season.
There is currently no fixture scheduled for next weekend, with the side returning with a behind-closed-doors fixture against Millwall on July 19.
