West Bromwich Albion are 'open to offers' for former Reading star John Swift, according to reports.
The 29-year-old spent eight years in Berkshire and racked up over 200 appearances as he cemented himself as one of the most highly regarded attacking midfielders in the Championship.
However, consistency marred most of his time as a Royal and he only managed double-figure goals for one season.
Walking away at the expiration of his contract in 2022, having hit a career-best tally of 11 goals, the Chelsea youngster has continued to prove his worth at the top end of the division with the Baggies.
The Portsmouth-born star has since made nearly 90 appearances in two years at the Hawthorns, but according to Football Insider the club are 'open to offer.'
In the final year of his contract, the Baggies are said to be looking to 'raise funds' and Michael Carrick's Boro are one team linked with the experienced Championship performer.
However, it is not thought to be an imminent mover. Teesside Live have reported that 'while it cannot be killed entirely, the feeling right now is that Boro are exploring other options.'
