The English Football League have confirmed that Reading will be broadcast live on Sky Sports five times between August and December.
After signing a new television deal with Sky, each club is to be televised more than 20 times per season on Sky Sports.
The governing body also committed to releasing fixture changes earlier than what had been the norm, with all televised matches before the opening weekend of January confirmed before a ball is kicked.
On TV twice in August, away to Birmingham City on the opening day and at home to Huddersfield Town, three more fixtures have since been chosen.
On Saturday, October 19, Crawley Town will make their first visit to the SCL Stadium for a 12.30 kick-off, earlier than the original 3pm scheduled time.
Similarly, Bristol Rovers will hop down the M4 for a lunchtime kick-off on October 26.
Meanwhile, the one impacting Reading supporters most is the pre-Christmas fixture against Lincoln City.
Originally set for 3pm on December 21, this has now been brought forward to a 12.30pm kick-off at Sincil Bank.
The next selections, that will include matches up to and including March, will be announced before the end of November.
