Former Reading winger Junior Hoilett has confirmed that he is once again a free agent after exiting Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen.
The 34-year-old Canada international had become a popular Royal during his two-year stint, featuring over 60 times, but opted to depart after relegation to League One.
Formerly of Queens Park Rangers and Cardiff City, the forward's son had spent time in the youth system with Reading and there had been talk of the winger spending time training with the club in the last 12 months.
However, after just 15 appearances for the Dons, Hoilett is without a club as the start of the new season quickly approaches.
My time at Aberdeen has come to a end, I would like to thank the club for the opportunity and the fans for making my short spell memorable #thankyou pic.twitter.com/sMk8AiNink

Announcing his departure on social media, Hoilett said: "My time at Aberdeen has come to a end, I would like to thank the club for the opportunity and the fans for making my short spell memorable."
Reading are unable to work in the transfer market until a takeover is confirmed, with progress appearing to stutter in recent weeks despite social media hints from rumoured buyer Rob Couhig.
League One gets underway on August 10 at Birmingham City, with two friendlies remaining in the meantime.
