Reading boss Ruben Selles has made eight changes for this evening's Bristol Street Motors Trophy tie, with teenager Shay Spencer making his first-team debut.
West Ham United Under-21s are the visitors in a controversial competition, with the Royals hitting 19 goals in last season's one-sided group phase.
Coniah Boyce-Clarke starts between the sticks, with Kelvin Abrefa, Harlee Dean, Abraham Kanu and Andre Garcia making up the back four.

Adrian Akande, Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan and Jayden Wareham complete the line-up, with Michael Craig and Tivonge Rushesha the only familiar faces to the first-team.
Kick off is at 7pm, with the Lower West Stand only open.
