Reading winger Femi Azeez is set to join Millwall, according to reports.

The 23-year-old picked up 17 goal contributions last season and saw a clause in his contract triggered over the summer to remain in Berkshire until the end of the current campaign.

However, the winger missed the opening two matches with a back issue and appeared for 30 minutes in Saturday's 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic- which looks set to be his final run-out in a Royals shirt.

According to both Tim Dellor of BBC Radio Berkshire and Richard Cawley of South London Press, the Lions look set to complete the signing of Azeez.

An approach had been turned down earlier in the summer but Neil Harris' side have returned to the table and look to have won the race.

Cawley reports that the attacker is set for a medical today in the capital, a huge miss for the Royals who are still unable to enter the transfer market until Rob Couhig's protracted takeover is confirmed.

The American was present at the club's 3-1 win over West Ham Under-21s last night and had hoped a deal would be confirmed this week.
