Reading are keen on Celtic left-back Matthew Anderson, according to reports in Scotland.
20-year-old Anderson, who can play anywhere on the left-hand side, has risen through the ranks at Parkhead but is yet to make his first-team bow.
A Scotland Under-21 international and regular for Celtic B, last season the defender went on loan to Austrian side Admira Wacker.
Playing 22 times in the Austrian second division, Anderson contributed six assists and even managed to get on the scoresheet against DSV Leoben.
According to Football Scotland, "Anderson is to be allowed to leave the club on loan this summer with League One outfit Reading understood to be keen."
However, until Rob Couhig's protracted takeover of the club is completed, the Royals are not being allowed to enter the transfer market.
This is despite the club looking set to lose star winger Femi Azeez, with the forward reportedly undergoing a medical at Millwall today.
