Millwall have confirmed the signing of Reading winger Femi Azeez on a long-term contract.
The 23-year-old arrived in Berkshire from non-league in 2019 and departs having scored 11 goals in 89 appearances.
Last season, he netted an impressive nine goals and eight assists to help keep the Royals in League One.
He won the Vice President's Player of the Season award for his efforts and became a firm fan favourite, despite enduring a tough start to the campaign and failing to score in his first 18 matches.
Pursued by the Lions all summer, with Neil Harris' side having already had one bid rejected earlier in the summer, Azeez featured for just 30 minutes in Reading's opening four matches due to a back issue.
Reading Manager Rubén Sellés spoke of the move: "Everyone at the club would like to thank Femi for his five years of service, and wish him well for his future career.
"Our philosophy is to create an environment for our people to shine, and consequently we have a group full of talented players who attract the interest of other clubs at high levels across Europe.
As a result of the combination of Femi’s hard work and the platform of support he has received from his teammates and staff members, he has been given the opportunity to perform at a high level for our club."
"Femi is a target we have been working on for a number of months," said Steve Gallen, The Lions' Director of Football. "We're really pleased to bring him in after watching him numerous times last season where he really impressed.
"He's quick, dynamic, he takes players on, gets crosses into the box and loves to score a goal. He's played in a good, young, Reading side and is the exact type of signing we want to bring in to the football club.
"His tally for goals and assists in League One were impressive and I wish him the very best with us here at Millwall".
