Former Reading striker Shaun Goater has joined Aston Villa Women as a coach after leaving Manchester City.
The Bermudan forward was best known for his seven years with Rotherham United and prolific five-year spell as a forward at Maine Road for the Citizens, but the 54-year-old scored 12 goals in 43 appearances for Reading between 2003 and 2005.
Retiring from professional football in 2006, 'The Goat' has been coaching and managing in non-league since 2008 and returned to Manchester City in 2021 as an Academy Coach.
