A trio of former Reading midfielders made late moves in the summer transfer window- including a former Player of the Season winner.
Josh Laurent, who won the award in his debut campaign of 2020/21, spent two years as a Royal before making a switch to Stoke City.
Featuring regularly for two seasons, even wearing the captain's armband on numerous occasions, the 29-year-old moved to Championship rivals Burnley on Friday.
The former Shrewsbury Town and Wigan Athletic midfielder made his Clarets debut on Saturday in a fierce derby draw with Blackburn Rovers.
His Stoke City teammate, Lewis Baker, also departed the Bet365 Stadium on deadline day, moving to Blackburn.
Baker spent half a season on loan with Reading in 2019 and was big part of the club's turnaround in form to avoid relegation under Jose Gomes.
A Chelsea youngster, Baker managed 19 appearances for the club and arrived alongside Emi Martinez, Matt Miazga, Nelson Oliviera and Ovie Ejaria.
Mamadou Loum, who was a regular under Paul Ince during the club's relegation out of the Championship in 2023, has departed Porto yet again.
With 23 appearances for the first team under his belt, the 27-year-old has not featured in three years and has spent time on loan in Spain, Portugal, England and Saudi Arabia.
Playing 32 times for the Royals in 2022/23, he played for Al-Raed last year and now links up with Arouca in Portugal.
