Reading summer signing Chem Campbell has spoken of manager Ruben Selles' 'intricate details' as a selling point ahead of his potential debut on Saturday.

The 22-year-old joined on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers on deadline day and is available until January, the club's only arrival due to EFL restrictions until a club takeover is confirmed.

Unable to feature last week against Charlton Athletic despite spending time at Bearwood, the winger spoke to the club media during the international break ahead of what could be his debut against Leyton Orient.

Selles had previously called Campbell his 'first choice' when asked about the former Wycombe Wanderers loanee, with the winger speaking equally as highly of the boss.

"It was massive- he’s a coach who loves the small details and that can only help a player," he told the club media. "If he tells you small points to work on, it can only make you better. It was definitely helpful. He showed me that before I signed and now I’ve been here it has been even more intricate and it’s looking good."

Sending his message to supporters, Campbell said: "It’s a massive club to be a part of- I understand that. I’m happy to be a part of it and really excited. They gave me a warm welcome at half-time against Charlton.

"I spoke to some of them before the game and they were really welcoming so I just want to give them it back and try to impress."
