Reading legend Phil Parkinson has been nominated for League One Manager of the Month as his Wrexham side completed August unbeaten.
Parkinson- a much-loved former captain who made over 400 appearances for the Royals between 1992 and 2003- has taken the Red Dragons from the National League into the third tier in successive seasons.
Beating Reading 3-0 on August 24, the Welsh outfit sit top of the division and are yet to experience defeat since returning to the third tier.
Birmingham City's Chris Davies, Stockport County's Dave Challinor and Lincoln City's Michael Skubala are also up for the award.
Stockport, who were promoted alongside Wrexham last year, are also in the top two and are yet to lose.
Birmingham, bit spenders after their relegation last year, are in the hunt and complete the trio of undefeated clubs.
Lincoln have won three of their four fixtures and are the highest scorers after four matches with nine.
For the Player of the Month award, Stockport striker Louie Barry is joined by Lloyd Jones of Charlton Athletic, Alfie May of Birmingham City and Adam Phillips of Barnsley.
