Reading suffered their first home defeat in over six months, going down 1-0 to previously pointless Leyton Orient.
Take a look below at our ratings from the defeat.
Coniah Boyce-Clarke, 4: A first league appearance for over 12 months, Boyce-Clarke suffered a day to forget. One superb save was overshadowed by a critical error gifting Charlie Kelman the winner. Distribution was below par too.
Michael Craig, 5: Still out of position and more than adequate filling in for injuries. Normally keen to burst forward, the link-up play was lacking throughout.
Tyler Bindon, 6: Had little to do as Orient offered little else besides their fortuitous goal. Slowed the tempo down too much as the Royals were searching for an equaliser.
Amadou Mbengue, 5: Defensively sound but distribution was off all afternoon. He was fortunate not to give away another goal as his lax pass was intercepted on the edge of the Reading box.
Jeriel Dorsett, 4: Bad day at the office for the full-back, who made plenty of mistakes in possession. Has had a tough start to the new campaign, seemingly targeted by the opposition weekly.
Lewis Wing, 5: Not at his mercurial best, passing a touch off and and too often sat too deep to impact the game in an offensive role. Came close to scoring with a trademark free-kick.
Charlie Savage, 5: As always, energy and tempo was there. Felt a little rushed and did not get the ball down and under control enough for our liking. Everything at 100 miles per hour.
Ben Elliott, 7: Reading's best player, particularly in the first half. Always on the turn and drove through the heart of midfield on multiple occasions. As with the rest of the squad, final pass was a split-second off.
Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan, 6: Dangerous and grew into the game but did not pick the right pass, or time the pass, on enough occasions.
Sam Smith, 5: A tough day for the striker, given poor passes to try and hold up against a strong defensive unit. Offside for the one chance in front of goal that fell his way.
Chem Campbell, 6: Direct and quick, the debutant was a good outlet in the first half. Should be scoring but forced Zach Hemming into a smart save in the second half.
Substitutes
Harvey Knibbs, 6: Tried to impact the game in the offensive third and gained valuable minutes upon return from injury.
Adrian Akande, 6: Pacy and direct, beating his opposite man on occasion. Final ball required work but a positive cameo.
