Former Reading star Michael Olise scored his first goal for giants Bayern Munich on Saturday as the six-time European Cup champions cruised to a 6-1 win over Holstein Kiel.
Olise, who played more than 70 times for the Royals before sealing an £8m switch to Crystal Palace in 2021, bagged the club an important seven-figure sell-on fee when departing Selhurst Park to move to Bavaria over the summer.
Former Reading teammate Omar Richards moved to the Allianz Stadium in 2021 but made only 17 appearances and is now on loan in Portugal with Rio Ave.
After impressing at the Olympic Games for host nation France, the 22-year-old made his full debut for the national team earlier this month.
With four starts to his name so far for Die Roten, Olise scored his first goal on Saturday as Harry Kane netted a hattrick and Germany international Jamal Musiala scored the joint second-fastest goal of the Bundesliga era (13 seconds).
The attacking midfielder could mark his Champions League debut this evening as Bayern Munich host Dinamo Zagreb.
