Reading earned a second home win in four days, beating Burton Albion 3-1 at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.

Chem Campbell netted a first half brace during a dominant period for the hosts, while Sam Smith rounded off the scoring with less than 10 minutes remaining.

Take a look below at our ratings.

David Button, 7: He wasn't tested too much but stayed switched on and dealt with whatever was thrown his way. Made a couple of strong saves and was unfortunate to lose his clean sheet late on.

Michael Craig, 6: Still doing a more than adequate job filling in at full-back, looking like he has played at right-back for his entire career. Showed flashes of naivety but to be expected when still learning a new position.

Amadou Mbengue, 6: The fan favourite was everywhere, even having a charging run down the wing and setting up an attack. His energy and enthusiasm sweeps through the entire team and into the stands.

Tyler Bindon, 6: The ice coolness alongside Mbengue's fiery play, the young pairing continues to impress as a relatively toothless Burton struggled to create legitimate chances to score.

Andre Garcia, 7: A really promising first league start for the 16-year-old who loved nothing more than charging forward to join attacks. Of course, defensively caught out on occasion but always got back goal side and certainly did not look out of place in League One.

Lewis Wing, 6: Not at his sparkling best but showed flashes of real quality, particularly one memorable turn to set Sam Smith through on goal.

Ben Elliott, 6: A quieter match by his recent standards, but still caught the eye on occasion to remind supporters of what he is capable of after scoring in successive matches.

Harvey Knibbs, 6: Ran himself into the ground as usual and was key to the counter-press system, but less effective than Saturday where he ran the show in a 2-1 victory over Huddersfield Town.

Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan, 6: A night of 'what if's' for the young forward as most of what he did was excellent but the final ball was missing. Burton could not contain him, but his evening could have been much more prolific.

Sam Smith, 6: It looked set to be another frustrating evening for the striker starved of chances, but Smith made it seven goals in seven matches against the Brewers with a late third goal to kill the tie.

Chem Campbell, 7: Took his two goals well and looked a changed player after hitting the net. He was on the receiving end of a few bellows from Ruben Selles in what was a frustrating opening 25 minutes for the Wolves loanee. Hopefully the winger kicks on after grabbing a brace.

Substitutes

Kelvin Abrefa, 6: More important minutes in the tank to create a competitive fight for the right-back berth.

Charlie Savage, 6: Came close to scoring from a distance and threw everything into his 25 minute cameo.
