Reading teenager Basil Tuma has earned his first call-up to the Malta senior international squad following his impressive performances in the youth team.
19-year-old Tuma, who graduated from Eton College, made his debut under Paul Ince in 2022 and has seven appearances for the first-team.
Still a regular for Noel Hunt's Under-21s, the forward has scored once so far this season.
Originally from Uganda, Tuma played for Malta Under-19s and made his debut for Malta Under-21s last year.
For the upcoming international break, Tuma has been selected for the 30-man senior squad for matches against Turkmenistan and Moldova.
Among other Royals heading off on international duty include defender Tyler Bindon (New Zealand) and Charlie Savage (Wales Under-21).
A win could see Wales qualify for the European Championship finals for the first time at under-21 level.
21-year-old Savage, Reading's top scorer this season, already have seven caps at senior international level.
