Reading manager Ruben Selles is among the bookies favourites to take over at Cardiff City as news broke of the Bluebirds' interest.
The Bluebirds sacked the Turkish boss last month with the Welsh outfit rock-bottom of the Championship with just one win from their opening eight matches.
Under the caretaker charge of Omer Ritza, Cardiff drew 1-1 with Bristol City on Sunday but remain three points from safety.
Selles, who has taken plenty of plaudits for the work done in Berkshire, has reportedly been discussed as a possible replacement.

According to WalesOnline, Selles has already formed discussions among the board at Cardiff and will be a 'chunky segment of the hierarchy's discussions' in a meeting within the next 24 hours.'
However, there are reportedly concerns over whether the Spaniard can 'handle' controversial owner Vincent Tan.
According to SkyBet, Selles is 6/1 to take over at the Cardiff City Stadium, making him the fourth favourite.
Former West Ham United and Watford chief, Slaven Bilic, is the current favourite at 5/2.

Ritza (4/1), Ryan Lowe (11/2) and Steven Schumacher (11/2) are ahead of Selles in the eyes of the bookies.
However, journalist Paul Abbandonato believes Bilic is less likely due to a 'commitment' until January.
