Former Reading Academy graduate Aaron Kuhl has left National League South side Dorking Wanderers by 'mutual consent.'

The midfielder rose through the ranks and made eight appearances in the 2014/15 campaign, captaining the Under-21s to glory in the PL2 Cup.

Suffering with injuries in recent years, the 28-year-old is a fan favourite at Slough Town and Farnborough after taking in successful spells with both.

Making over 70 appearances for the Rebels, Kuhl spent some time with Dorking and Farnborough last season and made 40 combined appearances.

In 2015, the midfielder earned an England Under-20 cap showcasing the promise in his career.

Manager Marc White said: “Kuhly is a tremendous character who will be dearly missed by all of us. We both spoke about our objectives moving forward and Aaron leaving the club was the right decision, primarily for him. I want to thank him for adding such vibrancy around the club and for being a real team player.”

Dorking are best-known for their 'Bunch of Amateurs' YouTube documentary series and for rising through the ranks under owner and manager White.
