The Select Car Leasing, home of Reading, has been voted the worst stadium in League One by journalist Adrian Durham on popular radio station, TalkSPORT.

Durham, a Peterborough United fan, hosted the flagship Drive Time programme for over 15 years and is one of the leading broadcasters in the country.

With a reputation for being controversial, to celebrate completing 'the 92' (visiting each stadium in the top four tiers) the journalist ranked all in each division.

The SCL Stadium, formerly Madejski Stadium from 1998 until 2021, finished bottom of the League One ranking.

"Reading have gone bottom of the table, it's soporific," he commented. "It's just so dull and so boring. It will send you to sleep. There's nothing there to love. I don't even see it as a football stadium. I know it is but I've seen so many other sports there.

"I can't be doing with it really. I don't love it at all. And their old ground, Elm Park, was brilliant. That was tight."

London Road, home of Peterborough, came out on top as it's where he 'fell in love with football' but the fanatic admitted 'it wouldn't get in many people's top 92.'

Charlton Athletic's Valley and Bloomfield Road, home of Blackpool, made up the top three.
