Reading returned from the international break in fine form, beating strugglers Crawley Town 4-1 in a performance which left manager Ruben Selles wanting more.
Take a look below at the ratings.
David Button, 6: A game of contrasts for the experienced keeper as some hairy moments threatened to spoil the party but he still pulled off some good saves as the Red Devils proved dangerous.
Michael Craig, 6: A very solid, workmanlike performance from the youngster out of position.
Amadou Mbengue, 8: Spun like a seasoned striker to score his first goal of the season but it was his defensive block on goal line to prevent a certain goal that caught the eye. Composed and in control throughout.
Tyler Bindon, 7: Similar to Mbengue, the teenager impressed to block what would have been a certain goal on the line. Some of his passes put Button under pressure, however.
Andre Garcia, 6: Continued to impress as a 16-year-old and was very strong offensively in spells. Invaluable experience.
Lewis Wing, 7: Took a while to get going but after firing in a goal-of-the-season contender, the captain looked back near his best. Set up Sam Smith expertly.
Ben Elliott, 6: A quieter afternoon for the youngster who has been one of the best performers of the season.
Charlie Savage, 7: Pressed well throughout and took his goal expertly. A much-needed 90 minutes under his belt after a few weeks no doubt frustrated with cameos.
Adrian Akande, 6: Started fast but faded as the match went on. Delivered some dangerous crosses which forward failed to predict.
Harvey Knibbs, 6: Out of position and not as involved as previous weeks. At his best in the heart of midfield, not out wide on the touchline.
Sam Smith, 7: Took his goal with great aplomb and on another day has one or two more. Held the ball well and lead the line.
Substitutes
Chem Campbell, 6: A quiet cameo from the winger, failing to truly impact the game.
Shay Spencer, 6: Exciting ending to the game with plenty of youngsters, including Spencer, picking up minutes.
Jayden Wareham, 6: Could have had his first league goal, scoring well but straying offside.
Harlee Dean, 6: Composed head to help see out the final knockings of the match.
Basil Tuma, 6: Pressed the Crawley back line well and caused no end of trouble with his pace.
