Reading stalwart Hal Robson-Kanu returned to the Select Car Leasing Stadium on Saturday as a special guest, with the Royals on the right end of an entertaining five-goal tie.
An Academy graduate who spent 12 years with the club, 'HRK' made almost 230 appearances for the club and was a regular during the 2011/12 Championship-winning season under Brian McDermott.
Enjoying his best individual campaign with the club while in the Premier League, scoring seven goals, the Wales forward scored in every round on route to the 2015 FA Cup semi-final and departed in 2016 after playing a starring role in Wales' journey to the last four of the European Championships.

Going on to register another 150 appearances for West Bromwich Albion, the forward retired in 2021 and moved into business full-time with his Turmeric Co. focusing on nutritional supplements.
Robson-Kanu was welcomed back to RG2 on Saturday by the Former Players' Association and spoke to supporters in hospitality.
Robson-Kanu appeared for McDermott's side in the 150th anniversary legends match in May 2021, a star-studded afternoon to celebrate the club's landmark year.
