The Shinfield Rangers U10 Lionesses have scored a new kit sponsorship.

The team, formed in 2023, is being backed by housebuilder Dandara, who were inspired by the England women's Euros win.

A strong start to the season saw the team win on home turf, with the sponsorship providing vital encouragement for the players.

Will Gilbert, coach for the Shinfield Rangers U10 Lionesses, said: "It’s a great time for young girls to get into football, with the England Lionesses paving the way for women’s teams across the country.

"With Dandara’s support, the team is getting the recognition and support they deserve.

"We can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings for the Shinfield U10 Lionesses, and we’re looking forward to putting their new kits to the test."

Zoey Rampton, head of sales at Dandara Southern, said: "In the last year we’ve seen a huge surge in support for women’s football, and it’s brilliant to see the Shinfield Rangers U10 Lionesses begin their football season with our sponsorship.

"With the team’s home ground only five minutes from our new homes at Oakwood Place, we hope residents will come together to cheer on the Lionesses each week.

"We wish the Shinfield U10 Lionesses the best of luck this season."

The Lionesses, made up of 10 girls, play weekly and will wear their new Dandara-branded kit for training and Saturday matches.
