Reading won a third League One win in succession with a 1-0 victory over Bristol Rovers.

Take a look below at our player ratings.

Joel Pereira, 8: Probably the Portugal goalkeeper's best game for the Royals, Pereira made three or four huge saves in the second half as the hosts had their backs to the wall against the 10 men of Bristol Rovers.

Michael Craig, 6: Solid display again from Tuesday's match-winner, but no goal for the full-back this time out.

Amadou Mbengue, 7: Another strong showing with his recovering pace. At times, he looked to go direct too quickly and ceded possession.

Tyler Bindon, 7: Dictated the tempo of the match and rarely looked flustered despite needing to be strong at the back in the closing stages.

Andre Garcia, 7: It felt like a real 'coming of age' performance for the 16-year-old as the left-back completed the full 90 minutes and never looked out of place.

Lewis Wing, 6: Quieter afternoon for the captain but still displayed great close control and rarely gave the ball away.

Ben Elliott, 7: After a rest on Tuesday, Elliott looked back to his best as the youngster loved nothing more than collecting the ball with his back to goal, turning and driving to the edge of the box. A perfectly-weighted pass to pick up an assist for Sam Smith's goal.

Harvey Knibbs, 6: Passed up a huge opportunity to open the scoring in the first half, opting to shoot rather than pass to the free Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan. A quieter performance to his usual best.

Mamadi Camara, 6: A first start since August and a positive showing, beating his full-back and delivering some wicked crosses.

Sam Smith, 7: Took his goal expertly and held up the ball well throughout in what was a strong centre-forward display all-round.

Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan, 6: The forward did most of the build-up well, beating his defender at will and looking to put the ball in the net. However, end product was lacking on occasion.

Substitutes

Chem Campbell, 6: Saw glimpses of promise but saw little of the ball in the closing 25 minutes.

Charlie Savage, 6: Came on and added energy to the midfield but by this point momentum had swung and the Royals were on the back foot.
