Reading were off the pace all over the field as Stockport County ended the Royals' three-match winning run with a convincing 4-1 victory at Edgeley Park.

Take a look at our ratings below.

Joel Pereira, 6: Made some big saves on top of the four conceded to keep the score down. Could do little with the goals let in as the midfield and defence let too many attackers in.

Michael Craig, 5: Passing and crossing was poor throughout as possession was ceded on too many occasions. Perhaps caught out for the fourth goal as his man ran beyond him.

Tyler Bindon, 5: Lost his man for the Hatters' quickfire response to Reading's equaliser. Still calm and comfortable in possession but overall the defence received little support from the midfield in front of them.

Amadou Mbengue, 5: Gave away lots of needless fouls and passing, particularly over longer distances, miles off it compared to his usual standards. Substituted early to avoid picking up a booking, which would have rendered him suspended.

Andre Garcia, 5: After such a strong performance on Saturday, the teenager was brought back down to Earth on a tough evening in Greater Manchester. Perhaps a little harsh to concede the penalty but was beaten regularly but Jack Diamond out wide. A tough learning experience, but will serve him well in the future.

Lewis Wing, 5: The skipper cut a frustrated figure as he was too deep to impact the game offensively and often overran defensively. Missed a few big challenges, particularly in the build-up to County's opener.

Charlie Savage, 5: A tough night for the youngster as the midfield was totally dominated by the hosts. Struggled to get his foot on the ball and play to his usual levels, left running around chasing shadows for large parts.

Harvey Knibbs, 5: A great cross for the short-lived equaliser but failed to get a grip of the game and control matches, like we know he can. Press caused problems early doors but Dave Challinor's side appeared to have the answers relatively quickly.

Adrian Akande, 5: Had a half-chance to burst clear of the defence early on but was pegged back. Had little impact or involvement before his half-time change.

Jayden Wareham, 5: Saw little of the ball and was left pressing to no avail for the most part. Not the evening to be a Royals striker as little went their way in attack.

Chem Campbell, 5: Took his goal well but had little to no involvement throughout as the centre of the pitch was where Stockport looked to control the match.

Substitutes

Kelvin Ehibhatiomham, 5: A frustrating cameo for the forward as nothing fell his way and a possible injury to his hip ended his involvement early.

Ben Elliott, 5: Too often ran down blind alleys and was unable to turn and drive into space, which he did so well on Saturday.

Mamadi Camara, 5: Similar to any Royal wideman on the night, had little involvement.
