In a surprising turn of events, Reading's FA Cup Second Round tie against non-league Harborough Town has NOT been selected for live television coverage.
The seventh-tier Bees are at this stage for the first time in their history having beaten Tonbridge Angels in the opening round, while the Royals are looking to avenge memories of last year's exit at non-league Eastleigh.
Many had expected the tie to be selected for television coverage, however that is not the case as five other ties involving non-league teams have been selected instead.
However, kick-off has moved to Sunday, December 1 and will kick-off at 2pm to allow BBC to film extended highlights for their evening programme.
A win for either side will see progress to Round Three, which is where Championship and Premier League teams enter and interest picks up.
Last week's win over Fleetwood Town saw under 3,700 supporters turn out and Supporters Trust at Reading complain that the supporter experience fell below expectations.
Reading host Cambridge United on Tuesday, December 3 and kick-off will remain unchanged for this League One fixture.
