Reading supporters have snapped up the full batch of over 1,800 tickets for next month's trip to Wycombe Wanderers inside three days.
Geographically the nearest club in the EFL, Royals fans were expected to sell-out long before the matchday at Adam's Park on December 7.
However, many will be left disappointed as none of the 1,848 were remaining for general sale, which was supposed to open on Friday morning.
Matt Bloomfield's Chairboys are riding high at the top of League One and head into this weekend's international break on an eight-match winning run.
Last season, Adam's Park was the scene of exuberant celebrations as the Royals picked up their first away win for 378 days when winning 2-1 last November.
Since then, it has been the scene of a protest as over one hundred Reading supporters showed their anger at then owner Rob Couhig's attempt to purchase Bearwood training ground for the Chairboys.
Of course, Couhig is now best known for his long pursuit in purchasing the football club- something which left supporters frustrated as a deal was not forced over the line.
Reading return from the international break at Peterborough United, with plenty of tickets remaining on sale for the fixture on November 23.
