Harborough Town have sold over 1,300 tickets for their FA Cup second round visit to Reading next month in the first evening of sales.

The seventh-tier side beat Tonbridge Angels in the first round and the Southern League Premier Division Central outfit are to enjoy a big day at former Premier League Reading.

Not selected for live television coverage, kick-off has been moved to 2pm on Sunday, December 1.

However, Royals supporters are left frustrated at the ticket prices, with less than 3,000 turning out for the first round win over Fleetwood Town, the lowest weekend turnout of the modern era.

Under 100 travelled down from the Fylde Coast for what was the Royals first ever win over the Cod Army.

In total, the Bees are allowed up to 15 per cent of the capacity of the Select Car Leasing Stadium as an away allocation, which means the Leicestershire outfit can have over 3,500 tickets if they can sell them.

Bowden Park, the home of Harborough Town, holds a little over 1,000 spectators.

With no replays, a winner must be decided on the day. Lower league teams dream of FA Cup third round weekend, with Premier League and Championship sides entering at that stage.

Last season, National League Eastleigh knocked the Royals out in round two live on ITV.
