Reading battled hard in South Yorkshire and earned a solid point in a 2-2 draw with play-off chasing Barnsley.
Take a look below at our player ratings.
Joel Pereira, 7: Made some more big saves, particularly in the first half. In the second half, El Gato made a strong one-v-one save against Stephen Humphrys to keep the Royals level moments before Sam Smith put them ahead.
Michael Craig, 5: A bad evening at the office for the out-of-position full-back, particularly in the first-half when his error lead directly to the games opening goal. As the entire team did, Craig improved as the game went on.
Tyler Bindon, 6: Despite being only 19, the New Zealand international was one of the more experienced defenders on the side. Looking calm throughout, it was aways set to be a difficult evening with physical opponents.
Louie Holzman, 6: A solid league debut for the 21-year-old old. Up against wily forwards, the boyhood supporter did what he needed to do against a tough opponent.
Jeriel Dorsett, 6: Targeted throughout, as the left-hand-side often has been this season, Dorsett was below the level set in recent weeks. Taken off at half-time.
Lewis Wing, 6: A quieter evening than most, sitting very deep compared to the games in which he has excelled.
Charlie Savage, 6: Less effective than Saturday's win at Peterborough but the Wales international continued to run hard and was key in the press. Put in a good corner which lead to Smith's second goal.
Ben Elliott, 6: Drove well with the ball at his feet and glided around at times. Less physical and lost a fair few individual duals.
Chem Campbell, 7: An impressive performance from the loanee, who has consistently found some form. Had a curled effort turned in by Smith and saw a header crash off the bar in the build-up to Smith's second goal.
Harvey Knibbs, 6: Unable to keep up his impressive run of four goals in two matches, but still a constant thorn in his opposite number's side.
Sam Smith, 8: An perfect all-round forward performance. Scoring two goals and holding the ball up expertly, the forward is back to his best after missing pitch time with injury.
Substitutions
Andre Garcia, 7: A brilliant impact from the 16-year-old who provided a real outlet.
