Barnsley boss Darrell Clarke labelled last night 'frustrating all round' as his Tykes side drew 2-2 with Reading at Oakwell.
Controlling much of the game for the first half, going a goal up inside 10 minutes through Davis Keillor-Dunn, the Royals reacted positively in the second half and found themselves ahead when Sam Smith netted a brace midway through the second half.
Josh Earl netted in the closing stages and both sides took a point from the game, keeping both in the play-off hunt, but former Cheltenham Town and Port Vale boss Clarke was left the more disappointed of the two managers.
Speaking to BBC Radio Sheffield, Clarke reflected on a 'frustrating night all round' for the South Yorkshire outfit.
🗣️ “You get evenings like tonight and we’ve had too many of them at home. So, a real frustrating night”

"Frustrating is the word around the stadium, in the changing room and among the staff. We think that’s four shots on target we have conceded in our last two home games, and we’ve conceded three goals. The frustration for me is that in the final third we weren’t as clinical as we needed to be. Ruthless, we needed to be. Another frustrating night at home.
"There were a lot of things in the performance- the build, the way we got in behind. There was a lot of decent play in there, but it counts for nothing if you’re not finishing them off in the final third. A real frustrating evening.
"It’s only a point and it should be all three. We dominated large spells of the game on Saturday- certainly in the first half- and I wanted a reaction. I think I got that in the performance but not the result."
Barnsley don't visit Berkshire until the final match of the season in May, but Reading host Cambridge United on Tuesday after Sunday's FA Cup tie with non-league Harborough Town.
