Wrexham's first trip to Reading for over 20 years has been postponed following Sunday's 5-3 win over Harborough Town in the FA Cup.
The Royals needed extra-time to squeeze past the eighth tier Bees in round two, setting up a third round clash over the weekend of January 10.
Reading were due to host the Red Dragons at 12.30pm on Saturday, January 11- their first visit to the Select Car Leasing Stadium since November 2001.
However, the Royals will now have a third round tie in the FA Cup over the same weekend.
Managed by iconic Royals legend Phil Parkinson, the Welsh outfit are famously owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McIlhenny and have risen from the National League to the brink of the Championship in three seasons.
Winning 10 of their first 17 matches, Ruben Selles' Royals are sat second in League One and are just four points behind leaders Wycombe Wanderers.
The club are also in dialogue with Shrewsbury Town regarding an alternative date for the fixture that was originally postponed due to international call-ups on Saturday, November 16.
