Hull City have 'looked at' Reading boss Ruben Selles as a possible replacement for the sacked Tim Walter, according to reports.
The Tigers sit in the bottom three of the Championship and sacked former Hamburg chief Walter despite his arrival over the summer.
Walter's Tigers lost in pre-season to Selles' Reading, bemoaning the Royals' strong tackling for a warm-up fixture.
Winning three times in 18 matches to date, Hull are looking to make an appointment as soon as possible.
With Selles leading the Royals to seventh in League One in spite of more than 18 months of off-field turbulence, the Spaniard has picked up plenty of admirers.
According to Hull Live, Selles is among many names to have been 'looked at.'
Mark Robins, Slavisa Jokanovic, John Eustace, Chris Hughton, Alex Neil, Ruben Selles and Steven Schumacher are among other names mentioned on Humberside.
The article confirms 'City hope to step up that process in the coming hours with sources indicating an 'early move' could be made, if the club are satisfied that they've got the right man for the job.'
