Reading FC have announced a new record-breaking shirt sponsorship deal.
Select Car Leasing signed a new three-year front-of-shirt sponsorship deal which will begin in the coming season.
As part of the new partnership, branding for Select Car Leasing will be emblazoned on the front of first team and academy shirts for the next three campaigns.
Directors of Select Car Leasing, James O’Malley and Mark Tongue, are both lifelong supporters and current Season Ticket Holders at the club.
Mark Tongue told the club website: “As a local company we’ve been in partnership with Reading Football Club for nearly six years now but, as fans ourselves, it’s long been an ambition and a dream of ours to have much greater involvement with the club as well as supporting the local community.
“So we’re absolutely delighted to announce this new chapter in our relationship with Reading ahead of its 150th anniversary season and consider it a commitment not only to our club but also to the town of Reading and its people.”
Reading FC Chief Executive, Dayong Pang, said: “We are very proud to be announcing this record partnership with Select Car Leasing, as we prepare to embark on our 150th anniversary campaign.
"Their commitment to the club has been evident for some time and we are delighted to secure such an attractive and reputable commercial partner during what remains a very challenging time for so many businesses. I am pleased that Select will be part of the Reading Football Club family for many years to come."
Head of Commercial at Reading Football Club, Tim Kilpatrick said: “Select Car Leasing have been superb supporters of Reading Football Club for many years and we are thrilled to begin a new principal partnership with a local, industry-leading business of Select’s fine reputation.”
